Hi there. 👋
I’m Michelle and I’m a UX designer passionate about improving our lives and society through design. Whenever I use products or services, I always find myself thinking "how can I make this better?"
My time with CareerFoundry has cultivated my user-centered design approach and problem solving abilities. I use my skills in UX design to create solutions to problems, positively impacting society and making products and services more accessible and intuitive.
In my 4 years of professional design and art direction experience in the publishing industry, I've worked with many people in editorial, photo, and marketing so I am a good team player and I enjoy collaboration. Due to the large quantity of projects, I adapted to handling a heavy, varied workload accurately and efficiently. My strong understanding of design principles and attention to detail are skills that I use in UX design today.
My ultimate goal is to become a UX designer at a creative agency where I can work on challenging projects that require creativity and problem solving in a fast-paced atmosphere. I want to achieve goals every day while working in a team that learns, respects, and inspires each other.

A little more about me...
I grew up as a TCK (third culture kid born in Hong Kong 🇭🇰, raised in Shanghai 🇨🇳, attended American international school 🇺🇸).
I was lucky enough to experience many different cultures.
As a result, I love to travel. ✈️ I have been to 18 countries, and I'm always on Google Flights looking for cheap airfare!
I am usually the office snack lady. When I lived in NY I bought Costco-sized goldfish only, never regular size. 🐟 I am the go-to restaurant recommender 🍴 in all of my friend groups. I am known to obsessively (meticulously) "star" ⭐ restaurants on
my Google Maps. I love eating everything and anything, except olives and eggplant.
I'm trying to read 100 books this year. Let's see how close I get! Currently reading volume three of the Lord of the Rings trilogy: The Return of the King 🧙🧝
I watch too much TV but my all-time favorite television show is The West Wing.
I love going to concerts. This is what I'm listening to right now--->
